UPSC Mains Mentorship Programme
Focused Mains mentorship covering answer writing, essay, ethics and personalised evaluation for aspirants who have cleared or are close to Prelims.
- Duration
- Exam cycle
- Who it is for
- Prelims-qualified and repeat aspirants
- Mode
- Offline at Ashok Nagar Signals, Hyderabad, with evaluation for remote candidates
The Mains Mentorship Programme exists for the stage where ranks are actually decided. Of the 2025 marks that determine your final position, 1750 come from the Mains written papers and 275 from the Personality Test. Prelims contributes nothing beyond qualification. Yet most preparation calendars are built around Prelims, and most candidates arrive at Mains having written very few evaluated answers.
This programme is for aspirants who have cleared Prelims or are close to it, and for repeat candidates whose Mains score has plateaued. It is built entirely around production — writing, evaluation, rewriting — rather than around fresh content delivery.
The evaluation standard is the point. An answer read by someone who knows how a UPSC examiner allocates marks tells you specific things: that your introduction is consuming a quarter of your word count, that your body has three points where the question implies five dimensions, that your conclusion summarises rather than argues.
What the programme includes
