Six questions to ask before you pay any institute
Take this list to every counselling desk in the city, including ours. The answers will separate institutes far more reliably than the fee figure will.
Contact hours, not brochure pages
Ask how many live teaching hours the programme actually delivers each week, and who teaches them. A thick brochure with sixty recorded lectures is not the same as a taught classroom.
How many tests are evaluated by a person
Machine-scored objective tests are cheap to run. Mains answer scripts read and marked by faculty are expensive — and they are the single item most worth paying for.
When answer writing begins
If answer writing starts three months before Mains, you are paying for a Prelims course with a Mains label. At Pragnya it runs through the calendar from the early months.
What the material costs
Confirm whether printed notes, current-affairs compilations and the test series are included, or billed later. Hidden material costs are the most common fee surprise in Hyderabad.
